Grade A Tralee 2010 (April 10)

|
|
|
Grade A Tralee gala was held on Saturday 18th April 2010.
With 5 swimmers we finished up with 2 Gold medals 2 silver and 4 bronze medals and 19 PB's

North Munster 2010 (April 10)
|
|
|
|
The North Munster gala was held on Sunday 11th April 2010.
With five teams having 165 athletes there were 734 individual swims. While the Limerick team took home The McCarthy Trophy as they had the most number of swimming points on the day Askeaton were proud with 22 Gold 22 Silver 15 Bronze medals And our relay got second places giving them a further 6 silver medals.
We would like to thank the pool complex and staff for their help on the lead up to the event and on the day.

Parents Meeting (April 10)

A meeting for parents / guardians of club swimmers has been arranged for Thursday 15th April 2010 in the Community Hall in Askeaton at 8.00pm. Importatnt club issues will be discussed at this meeting. It is essential that one parent / guardian from each family is present.
The Community hall is located across the river from the pool complex.

Askeaton Swimming Club had 11 swimmers in U.L. for the Munster Senior Schools gala. See results.
And we had 1 swimmer in the N.A.C. Dublin for the Irish Junior Schools gala.

Askeaton Swimming Club holds its annual Bazaar in the Community Hall Askeaton on Sunday 29th November 2009.
All are welcome.

Askeaton Invitation 2009 (Nov 09)

|
Our 51st Annual Invitation gala was held on Sunday 22nd November 2009 kindly sponsored by our local Cois Sionna Credit Union Askeaton.
With eight teams having 221 athletes there were 1,000 individual swims. While the Limerick team took home The Deel Cup as they had the most number of swimming points on the day Askeaton were proud with 6 Gold 19 Silver 17 Bronze medals And three relays got second places giving them a further 12 silver medals.
We would like to thank the pool complex and staff for their help on the lead up to the event and on the day.
